On September 23rd, St. John Vianney Catholic Church joyfully celebrated the Blessing and Dedication of its new Caritas Center—a space created to serve as a hub of outreach, compassion, and support for both the parish and the wider community.
The dedication ceremony marked a significant milestone in the life of the parish, made possible through the generosity, leadership, and tireless efforts of many. Parishioners, clergy, and community members gathered in gratitude and celebration of a vision brought to life.
Just days later, on October 4th, the parish marked another exciting moment with the Grand Opening of the newly expanded Joseph’s Coat resale store. What began in 1987 as a “cramped closet” has grown into a beautiful, boutique-style ministry serving those in need with dignity and care.
Though the space and reach of Joseph’s Coat have grown, its mission remains firmly rooted in the heart of St. John Vianney’s purpose. As a ministry of the parish, Joseph’s Coat continues to support the Church’s mission of Living Faith, Changing Lives, and Making a Difference. Its fundamental purpose and guiding policies remain unchanged, even as it enters a new chapter of service and impact.
With the opening of the Caritas Center and the expansion of Joseph’s Coat, St. John Vianney Catholic Church reaffirms its deep commitment to outreach, compassion, and community. We give thanks to Almighty God for His many blessings and pray that these ministries will continue to be beacons of service, welcome, and hope for years to come.
