Join us on Thursday, December 3, 2026 from 6-9 pm for a free community event to celebrate the lighting of Energy Corridor District’s holiday tree! The fun is at the
Hyatt Regency Houston West, 13210 Katy Freeway.

- Lighting of our 50-foot holiday tree
- Holiday drone show
- Live performances by DJ Bizonee, Westside High School Chorus, and The Outsiders Band
- Send a free postcard to the North Pole
- Free photos with Santa, including a souvenir photo
- Free crafts for kids, including making a nutcracker and candy cane ornament
- Special appearance by Mrs. Claus
- Free entrance to the Jolly Trolley
- Free face painting and balloon twisting

All bags are subject to search.
No unauthorized vending or solicitation. Only approved vendors and sponsors can sell or promote at the event.
Dangerous or prohibited weapons is not permitted. Persons may be subject to bag screenings by festival security upon entry.
No illegal substances, including alcohol
No coolers, large backpacks, or picnic baskets. Small bags only.
No fireworks, laser pointers, or drones. These pose safety risks.
No glass containers. Only cans or plastic bottles allowed.
No professional cameras or recording equipment unless pre-approved by event organizers.
Be respectful. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
Follow staff instructions. Tree lighting staff and security have final say on any disputes.
No moshing, crowd surfing, or unsafe activities. Safety first!
No protesting or public demonstrations.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Keep an eye on your little ones.
Lost & Found is located inside the Hyatt.
For medical needs, visit the First Aid tent where medical personnel are available to assist you.
The Energy Corridor District’s Annual Tree Lighting Celebration is entirely free. No tickets are required. Please RSVP so that we can prepare for the expected number of guests.
No onsite parking will be available at the Hyatt Regency Houston West. However, we will have plenty of convenient off-site parking available. Attendants will be onsite to direct you.

Yes! We’d be happy to see your furry friends at this event. All pets must be leashed and in the owner’s possession at all times.
No outside food and drink is allowed at the Tree Lighting. Our vendors and sponsors will have delicious food and festive drinks available!
Yes! Restrooms, including ADA facilities, are located inside the hotel and are open to attendees. We’ll also have luxury restroom trailers onsite.
Personal photography and videography are allowed and encouraged at the Tree Lighting. Feel free to tag us on social media with your personal photos or videos! No commercial photography or videography is allowed without prior permission from The Energy Corridor District.
We’ll proceed with the event if there is only some light holiday rain. But if heavy rain and stormy conditions exist, we’ll celebrate on Thursday, December 10 (rain or shine!)
