A New Date for EnergyFest: Join Us May 2nd!

Make plans to join us on Saturday, May 2, 2026 for EnergyFest, Energy Corridor’s FREE flagship community event. The fun will take place from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Addicks Park & Ride, 14230 Old Katy Road.

EnergyFest brings the community together for an afternoon of great live music, delicious local food, and fun for all ages. The festival features musical performances on the Energy Stage, plus family-friendly games and rides and a lively vendor and business showcase.

We’ll have a curated visual arts experience with large scale art installations and a live mural creation by local artists. Plus, we’ll have food trucks so you can stay for hours and enjoy the experience.

While we finalize the full schedule of live music and food trucks, now is the perfect time to secure your sponsorship and position your brand at the heart of the EnergyFest experience. Energy Corridor Contributes Big

to Houston’s Economy

Join Energy Corridor District for a presentation and discussion of the Energy Corridor’s Economic Impact, featuring Paul Scheuren, Managing Partner and Economist at Impact DataSource. Paul recently completed the Energy Corridor’s updated Economic Impact Assessment. We are eager to share the results of his data collection with property owners and stakeholders in the District. Here is a preview of what you’ll learn:

  • Employers in the Energy Corridor support 112,000 jobs and pay $8.3 billion in annual wages.
  • Our companies account for $25.3 billion in annual sales and add $15.1 billion to Houston’s overall economic output.

Join our Discussion on Homelessness

Last fall, Energy Corridor District launched an innovative program to address homelessness in the area. Working with West Houston Assistance Ministries, we have taken concrete steps to help homeless individuals find temporary housing and support them through the journey to permanent housing and independence.

We invite you to join us for the upcoming Public Safety meeting, where we will discuss the early successes and next steps for the program. Our panel discussion will feature speakers from Energy Corridor District, WHAM and other community partners.

CERAWeek 2026: The Eyes of the Energy World Turn to Houston

Global leaders will gather in Houston for CERAWeek 2026 later this month. As the world’s preeminent energy conference, this year’s event will focus on the “Convergence and Competition” between energy, technology, and geopolitics.

We are proud to see many of our District’s own business leaders taking the stage to lead discussions on the race for AI, the future of the power grid, and the path toward a low-carbon economy. Some of the thought leaders who will be speaking on behalf of companies located within the Energy Corridor include: Wael Sawan, CEO, Shell; Ryan Lance, Chairman & CEO, ConocoPhillips; and Greg Ebel, President, CEO and Director of Enbridge Inc.
