The Energy Corridor District is proud to participate in a first-of-its-kind partnership with WHAM (West Houston Assistance Ministries), the Harris County Constable’s Office Precinct 5, and the Courtyard Marriott Hotel to offer help to those experiencing homelessness.
We invite you to join us for the upcoming Public Safety Meeting, where a panel of partners will discuss how public-private collaboration is helping create meaningful, community-based solutions to homelessness.
This special panel discussion will be moderated by Zak Miller, Vice President of the Energy Corridor District, and will feature:
- Melissa Taylor, Courtyard Marriott
- Neysa Gavion, West Houston Assistance Ministries (WHAM)
- Sgt. Joseph Lewis, Precinct 5 Constable’s Office
This marks the first time such a multi-sector collaboration across nonprofit, law enforcement, hospitality, and economic development has been implemented in Houston. We’re proud to be part of this innovative approach and support our partners in bringing much-needed resources to those in crisis.
Join us and be part of the conversation, help shape a safer and more connected Energy Corridor.
