Update on the Installation of Holiday Decor in the District
The most wonderful time of the year is almost here! We are thrilled to announce that our annual holiday decorations are set to be installed throughout the District the first week in November.
Get ready for our streets to be transformed into a festive winter wonderland with 10-foot wreathes, twenty-two 9-foot tall drummer boys and trumpeters, seventy-six giant red bows, twelve drums, dozens of ornaments, and wrapped gift boxes. This year's display promises to be as spectacular as ever by creating a magical and welcoming atmosphere for all our visitors and shoppers.
Thank you for your continued support for the District and our small businesses as we prepare to make the holiday season in the Energy Corridor District truly special. We look forward to celebrating with you!
Recap on the Energy Corridor District’s First Reclaim the Drain & Reuse Rendezvous Event
We are thrilled to report on the successful and cooperative effort by the entire community for the Reclaim the Drain & Reuse Rendezvous that was held on October 18th.
500+ lbs of no-longer-needed household items were repurposed and 32 area storm drain markers were replaced by 6 local organizations, 3 event sponsors, 3 contributing organizations, and 50+ volunteer hours serving ONE community.
The event was a testament to the dedication of everyone involved. It was a truly high-quality, high-capacity event that created a foundational baseline for future success. We hope to see you at the next one!

Your Voice Can Help Shape a Healthier Houston-Galveston Region
Healthy air supports strong communities, and strong communities build strong businesses. The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) invites community partners, business owners, and residents to share their input through a short online survey focused on five key sectors: Buildings & Energy, Transportation, Industry, Waste, and Agriculture & Land Use.
Your feedback will help shape practical strategies and guide future investments that support both economic growth and quality of life across the region.
Every response matters. Together, we can make sure the community’s voice shapes the future of our region. If you have any questions or potential collaborations, you can contact Pharr.Andrews@h-gac.com.
