Construction Update: Memorial Drive Resurfacing Project
In early January, the City of Houston set out traffic control equipment for the resurfacing of Memorial Drive between Highway 6 and North Eldridge Parkway. The work has officially started and we are happy to share that the City’s timeline shows the work progressing lane by lane from now through the month of March, 2026.
Traffic delays should be expected as crews work to resurface the street to create smoother, safer conditions and help reduce traffic.
PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE IS AS FOLLOWS:

Celebrate Love at Café on the Lake this Valentine's Day!
If you haven't made plans for February 14th yet, Café on the Lake is hosting a special three-course dinner from 5 PM to 10 PM. It’s a great local option right here in the District at the Hyatt Regency Houston West.
For $58 per person, the menu features a "Midnight Surf & Turf" with petite filet mignon and tiger shrimp, plus a glass of sparkling wine to start the night. If you're feeling festive, you can even opt for unlimited bubbles for $15+.
