Energy Corridor District: Festival happening April 5
Join us at energyfest 2025 on April 5, 2025, from 12 PM to 5 PM at the Addicks Park & Ride! The excitement begins at Adventure Alley, where thrilling rides and attractions set the stage for an unforgettable day. Savor delicious bites crafted by Energy Corridor’s finest vendors, then grab a spot on the Patio at energyfest, sponsored by Watson’s, to soak in the live music from the Energy Stage, sponsored by BP. Wander through the Thrive Here Corridor, sponsored by Fluor, and explore exhibits from local and visiting vendors—this is your chance to experience the very best the Energy Corridor has to offer!
To support sustainable transportation, BikeHouston will provide a free bike valet service at the festival entrance. Cycling attendees can enjoy the festivities knowing their bikes are securely parked, promoting a healthier and more eco-friendly way to travel. It’s not too late to RSVP—we can’t wait to see you there!
At our Q1 Real Estate Meeting, we gathered at one of the most stunning office spaces in the Energy Corridor--the newly reimagined Eldridge Oaks Building by Stream Realty. With Terry Hershey Park as its backdrop, the space blends work and nature effortlessly, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, a sprawling outdoor verandah, and refined wood finishes that echo the park’s beauty.
Matt Asvestas, Managing Director of Leasing at Stream, led a compelling discussion on the rising "flight to quality" trend, which is driving demand for premium office spaces like 1080 Eldridge Parkway. It’s no wonder this building is leasing fast!

The N. Dairy Ashford Road Safe Crossing Improvements project is set to enhance pedestrian and cyclist safety while improving overall mobility. Key upgrades include:
A new mid-block crosswalk
Safer left turn lanes
Relocated bus stops for better accessibility
Improved bike lanes to support a safer, more efficient commute
These enhancements aim to create a more pedestrian-friendly environment while easing traffic congestion. With construction set to begin soon, these improvements will play a significant role in making the area safer and more accessible for all.
In addition to the work happening on N. Dairy Ashford, this project will address sidewalk, crosswalk and curb improvements throughout the District. We’re taking a proactive approach to pedestrian safety with new signage and pavement markings at several key intersections within the District. These enhancements will improve visibility, create safer crossings, and ensure a smoother experience for pedestrians and cyclists. By upgrading these intersections, we are making it easier for everyone to navigate the area, whether they are commuting to work, enjoying our parks, or accessing local businesses.
The map above highlights the specific locations where these improvements will take place. These small but significant upgrades are part of a broader initiative to enhance mobility and accessibility throughout the Energy Corridor. We are committed to making our streets safer and more pedestrian-friendly, and we look forward to sharing more updates as these projects progress!
