One of the most beautiful parks in Houston, Terry Hershey Park, is located within the Energy Corridor District, and the folks at Stream Realty have made it the unspoken centerpiece of the refinished Eldridge Oaks Building. The concept for the building is to maximize access to the park by seamlessly incorporating it into the building’s footprint. A large gallery of windows looks aout over the trails and an expansive verandah with outdoor seating makes the space feel like an upscale boutique hotel, complete with thoughtful finishes like the wood paneling that mirrors the groves of native trees just outside the doors. It was the perfect place to hold the District’s first quarter commercial real estate meeting and our gracious hosts for the day, Stream Realty, provided an excellent market presentation.
Matt Asvestas, Managing Director of Leasing for Stream, took attendees through a deep dive into the local office leasing market and highlighted the “flight to quality” trend that has made the Energy Corridor District one of the hottest office leasing markets in the United States. We congratulate the entire team at Stream Realty for contributing such a beautiful offering to our local office market. After spending some time inside 1080 Eldridge Parkway, it’s no surprise that the building is leasing up quick.
