bp Opens First US bp Pulse EV Charging Gigahub™
Last month, bp hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of their first bp pulse branded Gigahub™ in the United States. The new electric vehicle charging hub is now open to the public.
Located in The Energy Corridor District at their Westlake campus, the bp Pulse Gigahub will offer 24 high-speed electric vehicle fast-charging points. This Gigahub site for EV-driving Houstonians marks a momentous step for the expansion of bp’s EV charging network in the country.
This is only the beginning and we cannot wait to see how this and future endeavors by bp support the faster adoption of electric vehicles in the United States. Last year, bp announced plans to invest $1 billion in America's EV charging infrastructure by 2030, with $500 million invested in by the end of 2025. bp pulse also shared commitments to deliver 3,000 charge points by 2025.

The District is Offering FREE Family Photoshoots!
Spring has sprung, and summer is coming. What better way to celebrate than to get outdoors and make memories with your family? The Energy Corridor District wants to help you create those lasting memories, and we’re selecting three lucky families to win a free professional photoshoot.

Our headshot event earlier this year was a huge success, and now we’re excited to invite you to participate in this unique event that blends family with community spirit. At the District’s next photoshoot, we will be photographing real families having a great time in the Energy Corridor area! Please note that the images taken at various District locations will be used in the District’s marketing efforts throughout the year.

In addition to being photographed for District marketing images, we're offering you the opportunity to receive free professional family photos.

How it Works:

Participating is easy! Make sure you and your family show up at the designated location during the event hours, and our talented photographers will work their magic. In exchange for your participation in the District's photoshoot, you'll receive high-quality professional photos absolutely free.
If you're interested in participating, please email us at [email protected] and let us know why you and your family are perfect for this opportunity. Those selected will be notified by May 6, 2024.

Donate to Barbara Bush Elementary School’s Earth Day Festivities

The PTO has gathered a crew of volunteers who will bring plants and assist with their efforts. If you’re interested in supporting this endeavor you can make a donation that will go towards purchasing additional plants, dirt, mulch or any other materials that will be needed to complete the project.
