Commuter Bus Service
Skip the traffic and reclaim your morning! The Woodlands Township-Energy Corridor District Commuter Bus Service continues to provide a seamless, stress-free connection between The Woodlands and the Energy Corridor.
Why Ride?
- Direct Access: Service runs Monday through Friday from the Sawdust Park & Ride, with key stops at major District hubs including Energy Center 1 & 2,, Shell, ConocoPhillips/McDermott, BP, MD Anderson, and Fluor.
- Modern Amenities: Enjoy a quiet, comfortable ride with free onboard Wi-Fi—perfect for catching up on emails or a morning nap.
- New Fleet Coming Soon: The Woodlands recently approved a $24.3M investment for a brand-new fleet of commuter buses arriving later this year, featuring improved HVAC, outlets at every seat, and electronic stop announcements.
The Woodlands Express Park and Ride has a mobile ticketing app, allowing riders to purchase tickets on their smartphones anytime, anywhere and then display them on screen when boarding the bus.
Riders using the app can pay for tickets using a credit or debit card, or via digital payment services such as Masterpass and Apple Pay. Both round-trip tickets and ticket books, which give riders 20 round trip tickets, are available. Once purchased, the tickets work offline and are stored in the app, to be displayed on screen as a digital watermark which is read when boarding. The app is available for download from both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Plan your trip!
The service is a collaboration between The Woodlands Township and The Energy Corridor District.
