The Energy Corridor's 12 Days of Christmas

Each year, The Energy Corridor District donates thousands of dollars to non-profit organizations whose efforts benefit communities in The District and surrounding areas as a part of its 12 Days of Christmas initiative. Recipients will be announced at our Annual Tree-Lighting Ceremony on November 30, 2023. 

Through the 12 Days of Christmas grant initiative, numerous non-profit organizations have received support, transforming lives and communities with their impactful stories of change.


Past recipients included, Houston Fire Department’s Operation Stocking Stuffer, Girls on the Run, West Houston Outreach Center, West Houston Assistance Ministries, FamilyPoint Resources, Literacy Now, and Memorial Assistance Ministries.

FamilyPoint Resources expressed thanks for contributing to the year of love, play and learning their kids enjoyed. The generous donation has helped FamilyPoint Resources grow as their number of participants grows and tailor their services to children’s specific needs. In month one, 10% of the donation was sent to help future graduates attend college through their scholarship endowment.

Literacy Now

Literacy Now was selected in 2022 as a recipient of The Energy Corridor’s 12 Days of Christmas. Their donation has gone toward supporting the Reading Intervention programs at Daily and Shadowbriar Elementary Schools located in The Energy Corridor.

Memorial Assistance Ministries

Memorial Assistance Ministries received a donation from The Energy Corridor District in 2021 in support of Memorial Assistance Ministries’s Christmas Share program. Funding from The Energy Corridor District was used to purchase gift cards and blankets for children between the ages of 13 and 18 years old.
