Join us on Thursday, December 5, 2024, for a free community event at the Hyatt Regency Houston West to celebrate the lighting of The Energy Corridor District’s holiday tree!
This year’s event will include pictures with Santa in the snow, local food vendors, live performances on the BP America stage, interactive family exhibits and a holiday drone show! This event kicks off our annual 12 Days of Christmas celebration, during which the District recognizes and delivers meals to first responders and donates more than $30,000 to local nonprofits!

Onsite parking will be available at Hyatt Regency Houston West as well as other nearby locations. Please RSVP to receive additional parking information closer to the event date.

Yes! We’d be happy to see your furry friends at this event, which will be held outside of the Hyatt Regency Houston West.
The Tree Lighting will be held regardless of weather conditions. Whether it’s raining or sunny, we’ll be there, ready to spread holiday cheer!
The Tree Lighting event begins at 5 PM, and the tree will officially be lit at around 5:40 PM.
No, outside food and drink will not be allowed at the Tree Lighting. Our vendors and sponsors will have delicious food and festive drinks available!
Yes! This event will be located outside of the Hyatt Regency Houston West, where attendees will have access to the restrooms.
