DESCRIPTION:The Energy Cycling Club is back with their monthly\, family-friendly bike ride through the District\, complete with a delightful sweet stop to cool you down! \nExplore the neighborhoods\, trails\, and roads and finish off at Baskin Robbins. \nStarting Location: The Energy Corridor Art Installation at Energy Hill (Memorial Dr. & Mayde Creek Dr.) \nDate: Friday\, 14 November \nTime: 6:45 PM Meetup & 7:00 PM Rollout \nRide to: Baskin Robbins \nSafety & Participation Notes \nOpen to All Ages: The ride is generally 8–10 miles round-trip. Children riding independently should be comfortable with that distance and safely controlling their bike in a group. Younger children are welcome in trailers or alternate bike seats with a parent. \nRoad Comfort: Safety is our priority. Some routes may require short stretches or crossings of main roads. All riders should be comfortable riding with a group on the road. \nRequired Gear: Helmets are mandatory for all participants. Since we’ll be riding after sunset\, front and rear lights are strongly encouraged for maximum visibility! \nRSVP and join the club to stay up to date on all things Twilight Treats!

SUMMARY:Energy Corridor Sweet Treats Bike Ride
DESCRIPTION:Coming in October\, the Energy Corridor Cycling Club will be hosting a family-oriented bike ride around the District\, stopping mid-way at local establishments for some goodies—sweet treats\, drinks\, etc! \nRides will leave at 7pm from the Energy Corridor art installation at the corner of Memorial Drive & S Mayde Creek Drive\, using various neighborhoods\, trails\, and roads to make our way through the District in search of tasty desserts. \nIf you’ve been curious how to get around the Energy Corridor by bike\, here’s your chance! With Terry Hershey Park at the spine of the District’s mobility infrastructure\, this will be a great opportunity to explore neighborhoods and connections to your favorite plazas\, schools\, friends\, and most importantly—delicious treats! \nThe inaugural ride is scheduled for Friday\, October 17\, 2025. \nPlease note that: \n\nThe ride is open to all ages\, however children riding independently need to be able to ride approximately 8–10 miles round-trip\, and safely control their bike in a large group. Parents are encouraged to bring younger kids along in trailers or alternate bike seats. Parents are responsible for their children.\nSafety is very important.
