SUMMARY:Twilight Treats Ride
DESCRIPTION:The Energy Corridor Cycling Club is hosting a monthly family-friendly bike ride through the District\, complete with a sweet stop along the way. Riders will explore neighborhoods\, trails\, and roads before enjoying desserts and drinks at local establishments. \nStart: The Energy Corridor art installation (Memorial Dr. & S. Mayde Creek Dr.) \nDate: Friday\, October 17\, 2025 \nTime: Meet at 6:45 PM for a 7:00 PM rollout \nPlease note that: \n\nThe ride is open to all ages\, however children riding independently need to be able to ride approximately 8–10 miles round-trip\, and safely control their bike in a large group. Parents are encouraged to bring younger kids along in trailers or alternate bike seats.\nSafety is key. Some routes may use short stretches of\, or require crossing of\, main roads around the District. All riders should be comfortable riding with a group on roads\, and parents should be mindful of children.\nHelmets are required for all riders\, and front & rear lights are strongly encouraged.\n\nLet us know you’re coming! \nRSVP by joining the Energy Corridor Cycling Club on Facebook. \nWe hope to see you there!!
