Chef David Denis, owner and executive chef of Le Mistral, and his brother Sylvain Denis have opened Foody's Gourmet, a "traiteur" or translated as a refined deli. Foody's Gourmet offers some of Le Mistral's favorites including its signature blueberry vinaigrette and beef bourguignon "to go." Bread and pastries are baked fresh daily, and customers can take home Chef David Denis' ever-popular macaroons in six delicious flavors!

As part of the Green Ribbon Project, the Energy Corridor District is pleased to partner with TxDOT to landscape IH-10 and State Highway 6 frontage roads. Most of the trees and shrubs selected for the planting are native with high sustainability as they tend to grow quickly and last longer with minimal watering and maintenance needs.
Join us Wednesday, May 25 from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. for a brown bag session with Davey Trees. Arborists from the company will address how to preserve trees to increase the value of your property. Learn how to properly water, fertilize, prune and care for your live oaks, pines, pecans and other favorites. The tree preservation brown bag will be held at the Energy Corridor District office located at 14701 St. Mary's Lane, Suite 290.
