Do you have ideas or concerns regarding our city's transportation? Now, you have an opportunity to have your ideas heard by top level METRO officials.
METRO is hosting a public meeting to discuss Long-Range Transportation Plans at the Courtyard by Marriott located at 12401 Katy Freeway, just west of Dairy Ashford, on Thursday, June 16, 2011 from 6 – 8 p.m.
The purpose of the workshop is to:
- Get input from the public on solutions to long-range transit planning
- Share your ideas on how METRO can improve service to the community.
Mobility options to be discussed include:
- Light Rail
- Bus Rapid Transit
- Commuter Rail
- Improved Bus Service
- HOV/HOT Lanes
METRO Senior Vice President for Service Design and Development, Kimberly Slaughter, will present METRO'S vision and encourage you to share your ideas. In addition, a METRO customer service team will be on hand to help individuals plan trips on METRO's transit system and to distribute METRO's Q Fare cards.
