Learn to Work with Clay, Making Marbled Coasters, Ring Dishes at Art Cellar Houston Event July 27

Working with clay can be relaxing and rewarding, say the folks at Art Cellar of Houston, which is holding a Pop Shop America clay workshop 7-9:30 p.m. Friday, July 27, at 1460 Eldridge Parkway, #120.

Using an easy-to-manipulate polymer clay that can be used at home, workshop participants will create marbled clay coasters and ring dishes.

The clay comes in a rainbow of colors, which the Art Cellar says is easy to marble with “magical results.” Each participant will create a set of four coasters or two ring dishes.

Designed for fun, the workshop features music and socialization while crafting clay creations. You can bring your favorite beverage or bites. All supplies are provided for participants to create professional quality-designed crafts. Better still, no experience is necessary.
