It’ll be a one-two-three holiday punch when the Energy Corridor’s Merry Market brings festive cheer to Grisby Square from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, December 1.
Visitors can fill their holiday stockings with handcrafted gifts and stock their pantries with local meats and produce – while enjoying live music, free yoga lessons, a Kid’s Corner and adult beverages from Watson’s House of Ales.
The event, sponsored by the Energy Corridor Farmers Market and Watson’s, will transform Saturday’s regular Farmers Market at Grisby Square into holiday bazaar full of both fun and a variety of handcrafted goodies, offered by some talented epicurean and craft vendors.
Visitors can try free yoga on the street, led by Precision Yoga and Fitness. A Kids’ Zone sponsored by Adventure Kids Playcare will provide fun for youngsters. And live music performances will add a festive ambiance.
At press time, new vendors can still join the Merry Market by applying via email to Kenzie Copeland, Farmers Market manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Of course, the Merry Market will also feature the Energy Corridor Farmers Market’s ongoing cornucopia of provisions, wares and goodies from local farmers, ranchers and epicurean food makers. Each Saturday, loyal shoppers find locally grown vegetables and fruit, meats raised nearby using sustainable ranching practices and a host of unique, handmade goods.
