Relay for Life of Katy/West Houston
The 12th Annual Relay for Life of Katy/West Houston Challenge benefiting the American Cancer Society takes place Friday, March 27th at 7 p.m. through 7 a.m. on March 28th at VFW Park located at 6202 George Bush Drive. This year the American Cancer Society is sponsoring the “Energy Corridor Challenge Award” to encourage companies and organizations within the area to compete in a fun event, while helping eradicate cancer.
Relay for Life extends throughout the night, symbolizing a cancer patient’s journey with cancer from a time of unknown through the morning’s hope for a cure. Relay for Life celebrates survivors, raises funds for research and cancer education and inspires Houstonians to become involved in advocacy efforts.
This year’s goal is participation from 91 teams. For more information, visit www.relayforlife.org\katytx or call Kimberly Lewis at 713-419-8121.
