The Energy Corridor has a lot to celebrate in 2008 including the completion of IH-10, plans for twenty-eight new office buildings and countless improvements to streets, parks and landscaping. Projects starting off the year include working on its Transit Enhancement Project, a partnership with Urban Trans, METRO and local businesses.

Safe Sidewalk Project Update

The City of Houston along with the Energy Corridor District continues working on improving the connectivity with wider sidewalks along Eldridge Parkway. Most sidewalks will be 8 feet wide allowing runners, walkers and cyclists to share the sidewalks, which serves Terry Hershey Park, COH bike lanes and bike trails, retail and commercial businesses and residential districts.
