Back by popular demand, Cigna Sunday Streets will close Eldridge Parkway to motorists between Enclave and Briar Forest Drive on December 3rd from noon to 4pm, creating a safe, fun place to walk, bike, skate and dance. Enjoy:
- Fun, free, family friendly activities
- Food, lawn games, live music
- Face painting, giveaways, and more
- Interactive fitness demos
- Rock-climbing wall
- Take a spin on a Houston Bcycle bike
- Pop-up protected bike lane
- Houston mobile library
- Frankenbike's swap meet
- Artists from across the city
- Pictures with Santa
Pedal a bike through the winding, scenic trails of Terry Hershey Park and ride the path right into the celebration at Eldridge & Enclave. If arriving by bicycle is not an option for you, The District has identified several parking locations for the many visitors that will arrive from out of town, identified in the map below.
If your business hasn’t arranged to participate yet, there’s still time! There is no charge to set up a booth or activity for Cigna Sunday Streets – Energy Corridor, which is produced by the Houston Mayor’s Office of Special Events (MOSE). To carve out a place along Eldridge for a tent, contact MOSE for details at 832-393-0825.
